Originally a native of Southern California, I relocated to Oregon when I was 11. As a young person living in Southern California, I fell in love with wildlife after visiting the San Diego Zoo for the first time. Since then, I have always looked for ways to make helping and caring for animals a part of my life. I especially love working with rare and exotic animals. (Including my 3 children.)
I enjoy various outdoor activities like biking, hiking, camping, and swimming. However, my greatest joy is my family. I am mother of 3. In my free time, I love getting involved in sports and extracurricular activities. For the past several years, I have coached my daughter’s volleyball team. It gives me a great sense of pride and satisfaction in helping young people develop their athletic abilities. I am always looking for ways to better myself through new challenges and experiences. For the past several years, I have found martial arts to be a highly rewarding and challenging endeavour. Most recently, I have started learning Muay Thai (kickboxing).
For the past 15 years, I worked as a veterinary technician for a local animal hospital. Throughout my career, I discovered an equal reward in helping people. It has been a great passion of mine helping people make informed decisions that work best for their family.
I love meeting new people. I always enjoy hearing their story, learning about them, and then doing everything I can to help meet their needs. I strongly believe that I can always make a client satisfied, if they are given the best information possible. I also love being given impossible challenges, and then finding a way to succeed. A great reward for me is when I’ve helped someone find a way to make the impossible happen!
